Please note: Toledo Zoo is closed Tuesdays for deep cleaning. Broadway entrance is temporarily closed. Please enter through Anthony Wayne Trail entrance.

Wednesday Animal Demo schedule (Sept. & Oct.):

10:15 a.m.
Polar bear enrichment – Arctic Encounter

11:30 a.m.
Seal feed – Arctic Encounter

Meerkat enrichment – Tembo Trail

1:15 p.m.
Elephant enrichment – Tembo Trail

2 p.m.
Gorilla feed – Great Apes
Primate enrichment – Primate Forest

Plus, enjoy animal meet & greets taking place 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the ProMedica Museum of Natural History.

In addition, the Zoo has routed out a 2 mile walking path throughout grounds that passes a variety of animal exhibits and beautiful blooms.

On Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m., come enjoy Opera Outdoors, a free pop up concert featuring singers from Toledo Opera performing a variety of beautiful music.

Please note that face masks will be required, and that social distancing precautions including maintaining a safe distance from the singers will be in effect.

Note: Caregivers who are directly responsible for assisting seniors during Senior Discovery Days are eligible for free Zoo admission. For groups of 10 or more, please pre-register with the Zoo’s Visitor’s Services Department by calling 419-389-6561 prior to your visit. This applies only to professional caregivers; regular admission rates will apply for volunteers and relatives of visiting seniors.
